Elementary School

Students in Grades 1 – 5 aim higher with the Ontario Curriculum, enhanced with Montessori-inspired methods. Smaller classes and personalized guidance help them meet, and often exceed, the expectations for their grade level. With high standards across all subjects and early introduction of key concepts, learners develop their strengths, explore advanced learning and grow into confident, independent learners.

Excellent academic results

At our Montessori Elementary Schools, students consistently exceed grade-level expectations, with many performing a full grade ahead in Math by Grade 1 and maintaining that momentum through Grade 8.

MAP Growth data for Grades 3 – 5 reflect strong academic achievement across both Mathematics and Language Arts. Students develop a robust foundation in core skills through a carefully designed program that balances high standards with support. Through enriched instruction, targeted learning and a focus on deep understanding, students are encouraged to think critically, build confidence and strive for excellence.

Learning is enriched through our STEAM program, where students collaborate to tackle real-world environmental challenges, apply scientific concepts and develop creative solutions.

Students engage in project-based learning, including building models and using recycled materials, fostering both innovation and environmental awareness. Field trips and hands-on workshops extend learning beyond the classroom, while achievements are celebrated at our annual STEAM Fair.

Social Studies

Understanding the world around us

Learners discover more about communities, governance, geography, history and the diverse cultures that shape our world. They actively engage in collaborative projects tied to each unit, applying their learning through real-world tasks and dynamic project presentations that develop critical thinking and communication skills.

Field trips and workshops take learning beyond the classroom, providing experiential opportunities that make concepts tangible and memorable.
